Church on the Street of Jacksonville FL (COTS Jax) is a
private Community Service. We provide a private residential reentry
program that
helps lower the recidivism rate by helping to transition ex-offenders. We also
provide a temporary shelter for
traveling evangelists.
COTS House was formed out of
obedience to the Lord's commands found in Matthew 25:40
"Truly I say to you, inasmuch as you did
it to one of the least of these My
brethren, you did it to Me"

Our Mission
In our
Passion
to glorify God, magnify His grace, and exalt His Son, Jesus Christ, it is our
Mission to become a Community Service
Provider of an
inexpensive temporary residential reentry
residence for those who want to be equipped to reenter society
successfully,
to have an excellent list of reentry resources to help get
them started, and a free shelter for traveling open-air
evangelists.
Our ministry’s
Target
is ex-offenders, and traveling evangelists.
Our
Purpose
is to reach out with the love of Jesus Christ,
providing start-up food, clothing, laundry supplies, transportation,
temporary shelter, and meeting their spiritual needs.
Our Goals
To provide a temporary free shelter for
traveling evangelists.
To keep a current log of evangelism
opportunities
in Jacksonville, FL.
To equip ex-offenders with reentry
resources to help them get started.
To help equip Christians to proclaim the Gospel to the world with
eVangie Newsletters.
To provide a temporary inexpensive shelter for ex-offenders for a maximum of
three months.
To help familiarize other evangelists with "Hell's
Best Kept Secret" and "True and False Conversion."
To continue our Under-The-Bridge program witnessing to homeless who literally live under bridges.
To assist the Bread of Life Ministry feeding the needy on the fourth Saturday of
each month.
To provide information for evangelists on a Blogspot at
http://cotshouse.blogspot.com/
To continue our Jacksonville Day of Prayer, second
Wednesday of May each year.
To assist 10th Street Baptist Church with flower planter
maintenance.
To assist Pillows of Comfort with their Friday sewing ministry.
To continue our "Adopt a Leader" Day Of Prayer Program here
To do our small part in lowering the recidivism rate.
