We will add new Leaders to our Day of Prayer
List from time to time. Please feel free to nominate one or more for prayer
by eMailing us at cots@prodigy.net . We
desire that COTS Jax' Day of Prayer List will conform to 1
Timothy 2:1-4. Pick one or more Leaders from the list below, or select the “Unknown
Leader” at the bottom, and pray earnestly and intensely for God's powerful
intervention in their lives, and ask God to temper your prayer with His love and
mercy.

Michael Bloomberg, Mayor of New York
Michael Bloomberg, Mayor of New York City, has been all over the
map when it comes
to his registered political affiliation (having registered as a Democrat, a
Republican,
and then an Independent). However, he consistently takes three positions:
pro-abortion,
pro-gun control, and pro-same-sex marriage. He has said, “I think anybody
should be able to marry anybody.”
|

|
Hillary Clinton, Secretary
of State Hillary Clinton, former Democratic senator for New York, favors
abortion, embryonic
stem cell research and opposed criminalizing harm to an unborn child that occurs
during an attack on the mother. The radical pro-abortion group NARAL concluded
that
her policies were 100% pro-abortion. She approves of hate crimes legislation and
laws
that give same-sex civil unions equal benefits, rights, and privileges to
marriage. She
advocated that homosexuals should be able to serve in the military without
concealing
their unnatural sexual preferences and she co-sponsored a bill that was intended
to
provide benefits to domestic partners of Federal employees. Since becoming
Secretary
of State, Hillary Clinton has testified that the new policy of the United States
is to
repeal abortion restrictions around the world.

|
Barney Frank, Congressman,
Massachusetts Congressman Frank serves as Chairman of the House Financial
Services Committee
and was the second openly homosexual member of Congress. The pro-homosexual
Human Rights Campaign rates him as 100% committed to their issues. Americans
United for Separation of Church and State concluded that he is 100% committed to
their stated goal of suppressing religious expression in public life.

|
John Holdren, White House
Director of Science and Technology President Obama’s “Science Czar” is one of the administration’s
many un-elected,
unconfirmed, and unaccountable senior policy officials. Holdren has suggested
compulsory sterilization and abortion as appropriate policies for population
control.
He is on record as calling for the national government dictating how large
families can
be. Dr. Holdren is a “one world order” proponent, stating that, “a comprehensive
Planetary Regime could control the development, administration, conservation,
and
distribution of all natural resources.” In an article he co-authored, Holdren
advocated
sterilization through government-controlled tainting of the water supply.

|
Barry Lynn, Executive
Director of AU Reverend Barry W. Lynn is the radical Executive Director of
Americans United for
Separation of Church and State (AU). His group uses “whistle blowing” techniques
to
harass Christian groups and churches, trying to embroil conservative and
religious
organizations in legal battles over their tax-exempt status. AU conveniently
overlooks
abuses by leftist groups. According to Lynn, religiously affiliated
organizations should
not be able to engage in what he calls “job bias” by screening out workers who
disagree
with their religious viewpoints. He believes that refusing to recognize same-sex
marriage reflects “tradition’s narrow view of marriage and sexuality.”
|

|
Janet Napolitano, Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security Secretary Napolitano has refused to retract her Department’s
report that warned
against so-called “right-wing extremists,” with such groups being defined as
people
who believe in traditional American values like the right to bear arms and the
sanctity
of life, and even including veterans who hold such views . As governor of
Arizona,
Napolitano vetoed seven pro-life measures. She also refused to support
legislation
dealing with illegal immigrants and mocked the building of a wall to protect the
USMexico
border. She opposed amending the Arizona Constitution to protect marriage as
the union of one man and one woman. Twenty percent of the state judicial
appointments Napolitano made as governor were of homosexuals, reflecting her
pro-homosexual agenda.
|

|
Barack Obama, President of the United States President Obama has assembled what is arguably the most
radically liberal
administration in American history. His policy initiatives have favored
socialism, the
homosexual agenda, and the funding of infant genocide around the world. He has
denied America’s Christian heritage but has openly praised Islam for its
contributions
to America and the world. He calls himself a “citizen of the world,” a term that
reflects
his support of a “one world government.” As Illinois Senator, Barack Obama
supported partial-birth abortion, and voted for the expansion of embryonic stem
cell
research. Although during the campaign he said that the abortion issue was above
his
pay grade, he has proven to be strongly pro-abortion in his policies. He is also
Pro-homosexual.
|

|
Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House California Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi represents the
congressional district in San
Francisco and has become one of the most powerful politicians in America. Pelosi
supports same-sex marriage. She is an advocate of hate crimes laws that give
special
status and protection to homosexuals. Pelosi also has a 100% pro-abortion voting
record.
|

|
Harry Reid, Senate Majority Leader Senator Reid represents the State of Nevada but is reportedly
fast losing popularity in
his home state. Reid recently smuggled a “hate crimes” amendment through the
Senate
that gives special recognition to homosexuals by tacking it onto a vital
military
spending bill and scheduling a middle-of-the-night vote. He favors the
Employment
Nondiscrimination Act (ENDA) which will force employers to hire homosexuals,
transsexuals and cross-dressers.
|

|
Arnold Schwarzenegger, Governor of California Schwarzenegger, the Republican governor of California, was
elected on a generally
conservative platform but has become quite liberal on social policy issues.
Although he
felt it necessary to issue state-backed “IOU’s” rather than tax refunds in 2009,
he
refused to cut abortion spending out of the state budget, choosing rather to cut
funding
for public safety positions. In 2006, Schwarzenegger signed into law a bill that
punished organizations not providing full marital benefits to homosexuals,
bisexuals,
and transsexuals. With many landmark legal challenges to traditional marriage
rising
in California, he has become an outspoken advocate of imposing same-sex
“marriage”
on citizens who have consistently voted against it.
|
 |
Olympia Snowe, Senator, Maine Senator Snowe (R - Maine) currently enjoys the highest
home-state approval ratio of
any U.S. Senator at 79%. Although a conservative on some fiscal and defense
issues,
she supports a government healthcare plan as a “fallback” if private insurers do
not
provide “affordable coverage.” She is also quite liberal on social issues. In
2000, she
voted to expand “hate crimes” to include sexual orientation. Snowe also voted
against
allow-ing employers to refuse to hire someone based on sexual orientation and
against
a constitutional ban of same-sex marriage.
|

|
Alan Colmes, National Talk Show Host Colmes is a
well-known talk show host who is a self-avowed liberal. During an interview with
Mat Staver about our Adopt a Liberal program, Colmes requested to be added to
this prayer program, suggesting that he would otherwise feel "left out."
|

|
Keith Olbermann, Television Personality MSNBC
commentator Olbermann makes fun of conservatives, gun rights advocates and
people of faith who disagree with his viewpoint. He calls some people liars and
nominates others for his "Worst Person in the World" list. Olbermann called
complaints from Christians about holiday censorship a "phony baloney war on
Christmas."
|

|
Rachel Maddow, Radio and Television Show Host Maddow is an
openly lesbian radio and television personality who pushes her liberal
viewpoints in the media. She favors same-sex marriage, claiming that it
decreased divorce when such marriages were legalized in Massachusetts. Maddow
has also called for an emergency halt on military discharges of openly
homosexual soldiers.
