Volunteering:
These men require a "startup family," a team of people
willing to help them through some troubling times. When they leave prison, they
literally have nothing except the clothes on their back. They need to get a lot
of things done, and this process is difficult when they don't have money nor
transportation. They need food, replacement I.D., work clothing, Christian
Mentoring, rides to apply for jobs and to get to Sunday School and Church
Services, and some need to get to doctor's appointments. You have no idea how
much they appreciate your help and understanding.
