TRAINING CENTER INSTRUCTOR/DIRECTOR
Volunteer Duties
-
Responsible for all aspects of teaching and running a class including
preparing the lessons.

Responsible for setting schedule of which assistants and other instructors
will attend and teach
-
If
you must miss a class, arrange for another instructor or assistant to cover.

Foster community among assistants and with students
-
Have “hands on” training, door to door, one to one, handing out tracts, and
open air preaching.

Arrange for driving them to parks, under bridges, beaches etc. to practice.
-
Make sure ALL residents attend each class.
-
If
they don’t want to, notify them they have 7 days to leave the center, per
their contract.
Skills
Required
-
Must be comfortable with subject enough to teach with ease.
-
Must be comfortable with open air preaching.
-
Must be willing to drive residents to practice “hands on” portion of class.
-
Must have current FL driver’s license, registration, insurance, and good
driving skills.
Time frame
-
Arrive at class at least 15 minutes prior to start time.
-
Have a moment of prayer before and after each class.
-
Share at least two evenings a week for at least one hour.
-
Share Saturday or Sunday afternoon doing practicing outside skills work, for at least two
hours.
-
Overall “Guestimate” is a 3 month tour, but may be more or less.
Evaluation
-
On
the last day of tour, have each resident fill out an evaluation sheet.
-
Instructor is also to fill out a sheet of how they felt about the experience.
